Ottawa Line Dancing with Sylvie - Friendly line dancing classes for adults 50+, offered at the Carleton Heights Community Centre (Level 1 and Level 2) and the Diane Dean/Greenboro Community Centre(starting September). No partner needed. Line dancing is an easy, enjoyable way to stay active while improving balance, coordination, focus, and memory — all to great music. A very pleasant afternoon class that went beautifully. We reviewed some old favorites and learned a new dance, then took another look at the waltz. The pivot ¼ turn followed by the scuffs gave us a good challenge, but everyone handled it well. With the room sunny and bright, it made for a really enjoyable session.
