Ottawa Line Dancing with Sylvie - Friendly line dancing classes for adults 45+, offered at the Carleton Heights Community Centre (Level 1 and Level 2), the Rideau Park United Church (FULL), and shared teaching at the Richmond Public School. No partner needed. Line dancing is an easy, enjoyable way to stay active while improving balance, coordination, focus, and memory — all to great music. A very pleasant afternoon class that went beautifully. We reviewed some old favorites and learned a new dance, then took another look at the waltz. The pivot ¼ turn followed by the scuffs gave us a good challenge, but everyone handled it well. With the room sunny and bright, it made for a really enjoyable session.
