In Level 2 this week we had a blast dancing Jive All Night and Ophelia. Love Potion 666 is officially in the bag, and we’re ready to move forward with a brand‑new dance next week. It was so much fun dancing with you all — can’t wait to see you again next week on the dance floor.
This is what we did:
Today in Level One we learned a few new steps, including the Jazz Box, the K‑Step, the Scuff and the Pivot/Paddle Turn. We also reviewed the Rocking Chair and learned the Electric Slide. Everyone seemed in great spirits, and the atmosphere was very agreeable. See you next week on the dance floor.

Fly Like A Bird Twice
We have a wonderful group in Level 2. On our very first day together, we learned five new dances, and everyone stayed sharp, focused, and completely on top of things. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly you picked up the patterns and how smoothly you moved through each section. The energy in the room was steady, musical, and connected — it was absolutely enchanting to dance with you all. I’m already looking forward to next week.
Here’s what we did— feel free to check the dances out ahead of class.
Love Potion 666Great first day with our new Level One group. We started completely from scratch and learned four dances, plus a bit of Fly Like a Bird before the fire alarm sent us outside. Once we were out there, we figured—why not dance? So we reviewed Quitter’s Groove without music, and the footwork was suddenly much easier the second time. Good work, everyone. Until next week.

Somebody Sway is a little beginner (2 walls, 2 restarts) choreography I created for my dancers this summer. We worked on it together in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and I’m happy to share it here. A gentle, joyful moment of group dancing. And here is a link to a u-tube teach video
