Level: Easy Improver (with a little twist) Music: I Can’t Love You Anymore – Ella Langley & Morgan Wallen
I’m excited to share my newest dance. It has a smooth flow, a few fun surprises, and fits beautifully with the song’s emotional tone.
Step sheet available on CopperKnob, and here is a Demo video
It’s true — I have a new dance, Long Live Cowboys. It’s a 48‑count, 4‑wall High Beginner dance with a restart and a tag, yet it stays simple, musical, and very dancer‑friendly. We’ll be learning it in September, and I’m really looking forward to dancing it with you. Demo and Teach Videos are up on u-tube.
I’ve just finished a brand‑new improver line dance called High Valley Fools, set to Fools by High Valley, an energetic Canadian country band whose music always makes me smile. This one has a fun bounce, wizard steps, heel‑ball‑cross patterns, and a couple of easy turns that fit the rhythm perfectly.

This waltz was created to introduce basic waltz steps to my beginner class (Level 2), using slow, easy movement that lets new dancers settle comfortably into the rhythm. The music is by Canadian singer‑songwriter Norm Hacking, whose gentle tempo makes learning feel relaxed and enjoyable. The dance is 24 counts with a simple tag that repeats three times, giving students plenty of time to practice the flow of the waltz without feeling rushed. You can see a demo on u-tube here. Here is a link to the Walk-though
We will be learning it on Wednesday.
Somebody Sway is a little beginner (2 walls, 2 restarts) choreography I created for my dancers this summer. We worked on it together in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and I’m happy to share it here. A gentle, joyful moment of group dancing. And here is a link to a u-tube teach video
Hi everyone,
I’ve been feeling really inspired lately, and this choreography came together so naturally that I decided to share it with you. My husband played Dry Spell for me, and the musicality grabbed me instantly — the rhythm stayed in my head, and the dance grew from that spark. I even shared the song with a friend before I realized it would end up becoming a choreography of my own.
It’s a High Beginner, but if you take out the full turn, your Beginners will be able to enjoy it too. The dance is now on YouTube, and I’ve also posted a teach video for my students to practice at home.
I hope you enjoy it.Try out my new "High Beginner" choreography to the song Project by Chase MacDaniel. You can find it on U-tube or get the step sheet from Copperknob!
Thanks for watching,
Sylvie
