This waltz was created to introduce basic waltz steps to my beginner class (Level 2), using slow, easy movement that lets new dancers settle comfortably into the rhythm. The music is by Canadian singer‑songwriter Norm Hacking, whose gentle tempo makes learning feel relaxed and enjoyable. The dance is 24 counts with a simple tag that repeats three times, giving students plenty of time to practice the flow of the waltz without feeling rushed. You can see a demo on u-tube here.
