Ottawa Line Dancing with Sylvie - Friendly line dancing classes for adults 50+, offered at the Carleton Heights Community Centre (Level 1 and Level 2) and the Diane Dean/Greenboro Community Centre(starting September). No partner needed. Line dancing is an easy, enjoyable way to stay active while improving balance, coordination, focus, and memory — all to great music. I definitely challenged my Level 2 class today with four new dances, including my new Spin Around Waltz — and they danced it so well. I honestly wish I had a video of them doing it, because the flow and confidence were beautiful to watch.
It was a lot of fun exploring these new dances together, and the group learned everything with focus, energy, and great teamwork. A solid hour of dancing and a really rewarding class.
